Our Learning Teams

Balclutha Primary School is divided into two learning teams.

 

Our New Entrant to Year 3 students are in the junior team, and our Year 4 to 8 students are in the senior team. 

 

Our classes run a variety of individual, small group and whole-class programmes which enable us to meet the learning needs of every student. 

 

Our classrooms are well resourced and welcoming, and we work to keep our class sizes small, particularly in the junior team.

 

Our learning teams work together frequently to share learning opportunities such as buddy reading and peer writing. 

Our junior students love working with their big buddies!
